Lecrae – Anomaly

Hi everyone!

Have you guys listened to Lecrae’s new album?  I particularly love gospel music in the rap genre simply because anything that is taken and used to lecrae-anomaly-album-coverglorify God is awesome (especially when that thing generally isn’t used by people for His glory). I’m also a huge advocate of simply replacing the music that plants sinful seeds into our minds- with music that’s got a positive/God glorifying message and sounds just as good! I am still in the process of weeding out my iTunes, its tough. I have listened to a few songs from Lecrae’s new album and they were great. On twitter, I threw out a question to people who have the full album about what they think about it. This is what someone said:

‘Lecrae’s new album “Anomaly” is awesome. This album addresses some of the problems of society without straying from the message of Christ. For example, his song ‘Timepiece’ focuses on how so many people have stored up earthly treasures and live as if Jesus isn’t going to return very soon. His song “Runners” addresses the problem of lust and how it will only give us problems. Another song: “Messengers” calls out all the believers to spread the gospel to those lost in the world. It is a great album’. – @EtiennedaTiwa
